The parade began at 1pm at Muenchener Freiheit, north of Munich city center. It progressed from there south along Leopoldstr, and after about 40 minutes, reached its destination at Odeonsplatz. There the parade participants availed of the refreshments kindly provided by the Deustche Irische Freundkreischaft, and joined in with the onlookers in enjoying the festivites at Odeonsplatz, followed by a few pints at Kilians Irish pub am Dom.
