The "Black Stuff" tournament in Luxembourg was a success for the club. With the "Munich Magnificent 7" we narrowly missed out on a semi-final spot on points difference. Coming from the "group of death" in which 2 of the teams eventually made the final we were winning 2 games (1 being against the eventual winners) and drawing 1 at half time. We succeeded in beating last years winners and this years favourites and runners-up Guernsey so I was delighted with that considering this was the first time that we played together. The next tournament is coming up at the end of June and I hope to have a stronger panel for that. That is going to be München Colmcilles' tournament.
I'd like to thank the following for making the weekend happen:
First of all thanks to Dermot Kelly and Ian Taylor who gave us the use of a set of the Rovers jerseys.
