Irish team wins in Hague again
The European Gaelic football league came to its climax, with the final in the Hague being contested by 2 Irish guest teams, AIB Dublin defeating Kilcommon of Mayo. München Colmcilles had a disappointing end to their season with only one win from four first round matches. The Frankfurt/ Würtzberg combination consolidated their good performance in Munich in August by qualifying for the semi finals for the very first time. This tournament also saw a representation from Düsseldorf for the first time in many years. This former stronghold of gaelic football is in the early stages of reforming their club. Presentations were made to Den Haag and Luxembourg who won the overall men's and women's Leagues in 2002.
